On the false argument that WMSCOG get salvation focusing on the deeds of commandments only

Some people insist that keeping commandments or feasts is to get salvation by our deeds since we have been given salvation not by our deeds but God’s grace.? Then, let’s find out why their claims are against the bible.

Of course we do get salvation through God’s grace.

But then, what does that mean by receiving salvation through God’s grace?? This is because we have been given?the forgiveness of sins not by our own efforts or deeds but through the blood of Christ.
Therefore, as it is written,

  • Eph. 1: 7?“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,”

Then, what is the way we could be allowed the precious blood of Christ?

Is it possible just by believing in Him in our own ways?? Of course not.
It is very the Passover to be clothed with blood of Jesus Christ.
Jesus allowed us His flesh and blood shed and tears on the cross through bread and wine on the Passover Day.

  • Luke 22: 7 ~20?Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching.. In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying?“This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
  • Matt. 26: 17~28?On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”? While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”? Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying?“Drink from it, all of you.? This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Anyone who would like to be saved through God’s grace should participate in the Passover the new covenant and be clothed with Jesus’ blood.
However, people who would want to get salvation but refuse to be clothed with Jesus’ blood allowed through Passover must be foolish trying to be saved only through their own deeds.
Therefore, it is their false argument that we are given the salvation not by our deeds but by God’s grace, being against the Passover and God’s commandments to be clothed with Jesus’ blood.

They have made false claims by misunderstanding of what was written,, “And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; it if were, grace would no longer be grace.”

When we carefully consider the verses from 1 to 7, we can easily find out that we can not approach to the salvation through our own will or deeds. Rather, those whose promises were prophesied by God, “”a remnant chosen by grace” are to get salvation.

Then, who are chosen remnant through God’s grace?? The bible testifies that they are God’s people who obey His commandments.

  • Rev. 12: 17?Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring- those who obey?God’s commandments?and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
  • Rev. 14:12?This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey?God’s commandments?and remain faithful to Jesus.

Then, can those who keep man’s commandments rather than God’s law get salvation and become the remnant through God’s grace?? Of course not.
Therefore, their insists of having received salvation, denying God’s commandments are non-biblical and false arguments.

It is God’s grace that Jesus allowed us to keep the Passover and get salvation.
The more graceful thing is that Jesus has already come to this earth in flesh again as the new name, Christ Ahnsahnghong and restored the Passover, which was abolished at the council of Nicea in AD 325, for our salvation.

This is very true. Unfortunately, I too was under the false impression that simply “by grace” I was saved. However, I used to wonder, what’s the point of the Bible if the grace of God will save us? This clears up everything and I will let the people that are too under the false teaching that only by grace we are saved that the true grace of God is the Passover of the New Covenant.

How can we discuss “Salvation”, which is the goal of faith (1 Peter 1:9) without keeping God’s commandments?
Is this possible? We should follow God’s way, not our own ways with traditions or opinions or experiences.

I think so, we should keep the God’s commandments, because our salvation is given by God, not by man’s thinking. so I will keep the Passover through which I can be clothed with blood of Jesus Christ.

God know all our thoughts , but we don’t know other thought..
Behavior is result of thought. Faith without deeds is meaningless.
Our deed is to save salvation of our soul through God grace.

This reminds me of myself as a kid, back when I used to get grounded…lets say you were grounded for an entire summer then suddenly 1 week into your “sentence” your dad says “If you take out the trash, I’ll let you off the hook.” Then would we say this was LAW or GRACE?

Seeing that the two are inseparable, you can say it’s both, can’t you? How gracious it would be to get your summer back just by taking out the trash? What if you didn’t take out the trash scorning the grace shown to you by your dad…then how distressed would he be?

In the same way, for our salvation there is something we should DO — that is, to keep the precepts of the New Covenant beginning with the Passover. This is the Law of Christ and the “faith with deeds” the Bible talks about…but above all, this is the GRACE OF GOD who allows sinners the glorious kingodm of heaven just for following His righteous commands.

If you study about the Law of Christ and the Passover, it is too glorious to fathom…It saddens me that people watch the commands from a distance, in scorn. If all people embraced the New Covenant, each man’s life would be truly radiant.

    God bless you!

    1 Jn 2:3-5

We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands.
The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him.

If you murdered someone and the state gave you death penalty.
However while being jailed and waiting for death penalty, the president came and said you will not be sentenced to death if you repent and do follow a special law ( you must meet me everyweek and report what you have done)
Do you think it’s your deeds that save you or it’s president Grace?
    Surely it’s president Grace.
In the same way we are all destined to die but all we have to do is to meet God every Sabbath. Its truly God’s Grace.
So let’s keep Sabbath and God’s commandments with thankful mind not as a burden. God bless you…

Thanks to Father AhnSahngHong and Mother Jerusalem, because day by day we met souls insisted “Eph 2:8-9 By grace we are saved not works” … It always makes me felt so sorry and pity for thier soul for unable to see the light of truth, on the other hand I felt so thankful to God had mercy on us who are in the light of truth.
In the light not the darkness we who are chosen By God to be saved as the last remnant. Truly , truly I felt so much proud to be able to suffer for THIS GOSPEL IN THIS AGE. IT IS WORTHY!
    Thanks to Aboji&Omoni!
