“Christ Ahnsahnghong did not fulfill the prophecy about the throne of David. He was baptized at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1948 and stayed there for 16 years. After that, he established the Church of God in 1964. Because he followed the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church which is a false church established by a false prophet, his 16 years were not part of fulfillment of the prophecy of King David. The reason is that even the Church of God acknowledges that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is a false church and insists that they began to keep the New Covenant Passover from 1964. Therefore, his 16 years in the Seventh-day Adventist Church cannot be counted as the work of spiritual King David for our salvation. For this reason, Father Ahnsahnghong did not fulfill the prophecy about the throne of David, and thereby he is not the Second Coming Christ.”
1. The work of the First Coming Jesus after He got baptized
2000 years ago, did Jesus separate Himself from Judaism and stay away from their synagogues right after He was baptized in the age of 30? No!
- Lk 4:15-16 He [Jesus] taught in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. He went to Nazareth where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. And he stood up to read?
- Lk 6:6 On another Sabbath he [Jesus] went into the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was shriveled.
- Lk 13:10 On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues . . .
Jesus preached the gospel, keeping the Sabbath with the Jews in their synagogues.
Who were the leaders of Judaism in those days? The Pharisees and the teachers of the law! They were false prophets extremely detestable enough for Jesus to say to them, “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?” (Matthew 23).
Nevertheless, Jesus went to Jewish synagogues every Sabbath and preached the gospel to the Jews. Then, can we say that Jesus followed the teachings of false prophets? Can we say that Jesus did not fulfill the prophecy of spiritual King David because of this reason?
Therefore, their insistence is wrong.
Then, why did Jesus keep the Sabbath in Jewish synagogues and preach the gospel? Do
you know the reason?
It was because He wanted to save true God’s people who were in Judaism though it was led by corrupt religious leaders.
Likewise, in this age too, why did Christ Ahnsahnghong preach in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church? He did it for the same purpose. Though the Seventh-Day Adventist Church became far away from God’s will, He preached the gospel there in order to save true God’s people who were in that church.
Therefore, the insistence that the work which Christ Ahnsahnghong did in the Seventh-Day Adventist cannot be counted as the fulfillment of the prophecy about King David is wrong.
2. The time when the Passover of the New Covenant appears
The insistence that He did not fulfill the work of King David because He did not keep the Passover of the new covenant from the very beginning is also wrong.
When Jesus came the first time, did He keep the Passover of the new covenant from the very beginning, right after he was baptized? No!
Because of that, can we say that the First Coming Jesus did not fulfill the prophecy of the spiritual King David? So their claim is wrong.
3. The work of Christ Ahnsahnghong for 16 years, after He was baptized
They only emphasize that Christ Ahnsahnghong belonged to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, so as to deceive people as if He had not preached the gospel for 16 years, before 1964.
However, Christ Ahnsahnghong preached even in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. We can easily find that fact just by looking at when Christ Ahnsahnghong published His books. There are the books which were written to point out the errors of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and to preach to keep the Passover: The book, “Unsealing the Seven Thunders,” was published in 1955; and the book, “The Letter to the Church in Laodicea,” was published in 1960. They were all published before 1964!
Therefore, their claim, “Because He belonged to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, He is not King David who preached the gospel of the new covenant,” is a lie.
4. The reason Christ Ahnsahnghong preached in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church
Then why did Jesus keep the Sabbath day and preach the gospel in the synagogue?
It was to save God’s true people in Judaism that was led by corrupt religious leaders. If so, why do you think Christ Ahnsahnghong who had started His gospel ministry in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, preached the gospel in that church? It is for the same reason.
Christ Ahnsahnghong preached in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church because even though the Seventh-Day Adventist Church became far from God’s will, there were God’s true people among them.
5. Preaching in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church is to fulfill the prophecy of the Bible
It is never a coincident that Christ Ahnsahnghong started His gospel in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
The Seventh-Day Adventist Church is represented as the Church in Laodicea from the prophecy of the seven churches in Revelation chapters 2-3. However, about the prophecy of the Church in Laodicea, there is a particular prophecy that Jesus Himself will knock on the door (Rev 3:20).
So, in order to fulfill this prophecy, Christ Ahnsahnghong started His gospel in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
This does not mean that He is not King David because He preached in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, but rather this fact becomes the evidence that Christ Ahnsahnghong is Jesus who has come a second coming to fulfill all the prophecies of the Bible, and that He is the spiritual King David who is to appear in the last days (Hos 3:5).
- Hos 3:5 Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.
