When I was young, I often went to church with my friends. The words of the Bible were interesting. Among them, I especially wanted to know about Jesus who would come a second time—when, where and how He would come. However, there was no one who taught me about those things. As time passed by, I forgot about God. When I entered a Christian university, I started to think again about the things that I used to be curious to know when I was young.
Around that time, I heard the truth from my cousin. Although he taught me what I had always been wondering about, I felt hostile toward him at first. It was because what he preached to me was too different from what I used to know. I told him that his faith was wrong and that he should find the right path.
However, my stubborn heart started to soften when I saw how much he had changed for the better. As he began to attend the Church of God, he came to live a sincere life, leaving worldly things behind. He looked so great. God opened my heart through my cousin, and led me to Zion (WMSCOG) through my mother who received the truth first.
I began to study the Bible carefully; I learned the things that I had always been curious to know, one by one. So many prophecies had been fulfilled and were being fulfilled exactly as stated in the Bible, and the truth about God the Father and God the Mother was so amazing; I became absolutely convinced of the truth.
Now in Zion, everything is new to me. God’s word is new, and the brothers and sisters full of passion and vision for the gospel are also new to me. However, they are not unfamiliar at all. Instead, I feel very comfortable with them. It feels like my heart, which was empty before, is full now. I am sure it is the love of Heavenly Mother that fills my heart.
My father just followed us to Zion at first, but as he continued to attend worship services, it helped him change his attitude toward worship. Now he attends worship services faithfully with a reverent heart, saying, “Now I clearly know why I have to go to the Church of God.” I am praying that my younger brother, who has not received the truth yet, will also have hope for heaven as soon as possible.
Now I, too, have a dream. My dream is to become a faithful worker of the new covenant and to participate in the blessing of preaching overseas. Wherever God sends me, whatever position I am in, I will preach the gospel with eagerness. I truly give thanks to Father and Mother for blessing me to remain in the truth.
